Client Testimonial: City of York Council

Brightsparks believes in the power of behavioural science to create campaigns that reach and engage your target audiences, and nudge them towards positive behaviour change.

That’s why we’re passionate about supporting local authorities to deliver innovative public health behaviour change campaigns which raise awareness about the advice, support and tools that are available to improve people's physical and mental health and wellbeing.

Working collaboratively with City of York Council, we have delivered several public health behaviour change campaigns that are continuing to achieve fantastic results.

It is a pleasure working with City of York Council who were kind enough to share their experiences of working with us so far:

“City of York Council has now commissioned Brightsparks to work on several of our public health behaviour change campaigns, namely Active Travel, Healthy Start and Health Trainer. Brightsparks has been a pleasure to work with, working collaboratively with our in-house team and understanding the importance of engaging with all key stakeholders from project planning all the way through to project completion.
“Brightsparks work strategically and are data driven, starting each campaign with research and data analysis, before developing detailed audience personas to inform the campaign strategies.
“Brightsparks have then developed sub-brands and assets for each campaign, all of which have been respectful of CYC's Corporate brand guidelines. Brightsparks have developed quality, cost-effective campaign videos and animations; comprehensive communications plans; eye-catching promotional materials; and have provided consultancy advice and support as required.
“The campaigns have resulted in a significant increase in service user engagement and referrals to the services. We have a fantastic working relationship with Brightsparks and we're very pleased with the results.”

- Debbie Manson, Senior Communications Manager for the Place Directorate at CYC.
