Brightsparks was commissioned by City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council to help them to develop a bid to the Department for Education to establish a Social Work Teaching Partnership.
This was an interesting project involving stakeholders from multiple departments at Bradford Council, as well as the University of Bradford and Bradford College.
BrightSparks was brought in to manage the development of the bid due to our detailed understanding of the local and national landscape for social care services and our expertise in developing compelling funding proposals to large structural funders.
The Department for Education recently informed Bradford Council that they had been successful and would be awarded over £676,000 to improve the recruitment, training and development of Social Workers across the Bradford District.
